Tracking Traces…, Kiasma, through 31 December, 2009

The exhibition from the museum's collection represents 122 works by more than 50 artists. The show's point of departure content-wise is the signs and messages found in the world around us. Tracking Traces... - a reference to the process of cognition - is dedicated to studies of man, nature, pop culture, the urban environment and its imprint, the traces it is leaving, be it intentionally or otherwise, to be treated as code keys of a kind.
The exhibition comprises three separate themed sections: Smudge, Barcode and Imprint.
