Dysfashional. Passage du Desir, through 29 November
The Dysfashional exhibition, currently on view at the Paris Passage du Desir, is an unusual fashion project - an attempt to explore fashion as a creative process, transcending the traditionally material limits of clothing. The curators of the project offer the result of a certain role change which saw designers create installations exploring the creative process in itself instead of their customary fashion collections, thus presenting fashion as a platform for unlimited experimentation, a way of thinking. The list of the represented designers includes Hussein Chalayan, Maison Martin Margiela, Raf Simons, Kostas Murkudis, Bernhard Willhelm, et al. After its stint in Paris, the show will travel on to Berlin, opening at Haus der Kulturen der Welt.
