Gaya

Author: Anothertravelguide.com0 COMMENTS

A stylish and always packed bistro run by the legend of French culinary art, owner of three Michelin stars Pierre Gagnaire. In calling this place a bistro, however, he is being somewhat coquettishly misleading; it's a nod to the fish bistro that used to be there decades ago (in 1912). Perhaps for this reason blue shades dominate in the interior, making an emphasis on the sea food cuisine. A lit-up glass bar, plastic chairs, extravagant tableware: the ambience is strictly modern and matching the food you see on your plate. Gaya is into experimental cooking, and oysters with foie gras is by far not the most surprising combination here. Dessert is a must!
