Town@House Street Hotel

Town@House Street Hotel is an ideal lodging of the era of twitter- and facebook-style virtual socialization. Previously, the 19th century Goldoni Street building has housed shops, then offices, and finally is turned into hotel rooms. Do not expect a lobby or reception there and neither stairs nor corridors. There are even no keys! Each suite has its own entrance straight from the street. Instead of a key, you get a number along with your booking confirmation, which serves as an access code to your room. Someone perhaps might find it embarrassing, or quite the opposite - exciting, to sleep right behind a big shop-window, with a mere curtain providing your privacy. The city sounds and noises penetrate the rooms and black-and-white photo wallpapers with Milan scenery emphasizes the urban environment surrounding you. Another unique aspect is that the entire trendy high-tech furnishing and fixtures are provided by sponsors (the list of them is displayed on the wall of each room). Lighting is adjustable to your taste, and each suite has a fully equipped kitchenette and a bathroom - like straight off the pages of design magazines.
Town@House Street Hotel has 4 suits only, one of them having 2 rooms, and therefore suitable for a family with children. Each color-themed suite features a different yet equally bright hue of green, red, yellow and orange. A special treat is a Jaguar, parked right in front of Town@House Street Hotel, available for those who stay a minimum of 7 nights there. Yet if you absolutely cannot subsist without such an old-fashioned element of life as human communication, chose a nearby small Town House 31 hotel which has a traditional hotel reception, where you can receive any travel-related assistance you might need, like restaurant bookings, getting around the city, etc.
