Antica Bottega de Vino

Operating continuously since 1890, but with a history going back to the 16th century, this is one of the oldest tavernas in Verona. Ernest Hemingway can be counted among the many famous writers, artists, intellectuals and politicians to have visited the place.

Antica Bottega de Vino's has a collection of more than 1000 bottles of fine wine, a part of which serves as an interior design element. In spite of the pub's fame and the fact that the appetizers served along with the wines have become quite modern over the years, the atmosphere here is still that of a proper taverna – lively and passionate!
