La Provence

The best gourmand restaurant in the city and a classic value on Vilnius gastronomy scene. Marvelous, romantic ambiance fills the air and ancient vaults exude the charm and patina of an old French rural mansion and every detail has a story to tell. Menu offers interpretations of tradition French fare and contemporary Mediterranean cuisine, special attention being paid to style and presentation. For example, sea bass baked in salt would be rolled out on a trolley. La Provence boasts the best wine list and excellent service as well.
Another celebrated venue under the same ownership is the restaurant Domm, sited in one of the most prestigious buildings of the city - the Town Hall (Didžioji 31). Its history dates back into the 15th century and décor resembles a film set featuring ancient ceiling frescos, contemporary design furniture, extravagant chandeliers and artworks adorning the walls. None the less exotic is Domm's cuisine, offering an amazing gastronomic adventure. Experimental cooking is its field and it never ceases to amaze. Octopus served with beetroots, prepared in all possible ways from foam to crispy chips, comes with a musical accompaniment via an MP3, playing La Vie En Rose, and that is just one episode of the restaurant's gastronomic repertoire...
