York House
Author: Anothertravelguide.com0 COMMENTS
The York House is located in a converted 17th century convent building and belongs to the same Bellver Collection group that is the owner of Palácio Belmonte. Getting there - climbing the rosy, quiet and shady steps - creates an instant feel of entering a different world. Spending the night at the York House feels more like staying in the countryside. This is a place that exudes memories, although in most rooms modern interior objects live harmoniously side by side with history. If you are planning to stay the night, do book in advance: you may find all 36 rooms occupied - not a rare thing with word of mouth destinations like this.
