Aragvi (Georgian Cuisine)
Author: Anothertravelguide.com1 COMMENT
A Georgian Aragvi restaurant is a place you'd visit again and again. Its features light and modest décor with vaulted walls and rustic elements - a rope of onions, candles on a mantelpiece, paint-free wooden tables, wicker chairs and a vase, full of fresh sword lilies. A serene view of Fontanka River through its windows and a warm coziness, streaming inside. It is never loud or pretentious. Mostly connoisseurs gather there - people who already know and appreciate this place. A very good, authentic Georgian food, cooked with love and care. It offers a whole bouquet of the famous Georgian dishes - khachapuri (290 rubles), grape-leaf dolma, stuffed with meat (260 rubles), kupati (350 rubles), hinkali (300 rubles), kharcho soup (250 rubles). Sumptuous servings and friendly prices.

we had our wedding reception at Aragvi and could not have chosen a better place. From the initial visit to discuss the menu all the way through to when the last guest left we could not be happier and the owner makes you feel completely welcome.
Aragvi thank you for helping to make our day as special as it was.
