Fantastik

The name of this store perfectly matches its content - you are unlikely to encounter such a fantastically crazy, strange and stylistically over-the-top souvenir store anywhere else. For that reason alone, Fantastik is worth a visit. The store is the epicentre of ethnic kitsch, its shelves laden with souvenirs from at least 20 countries. You will find anything and everything here - anatomical wall charts of the kind that are displayed in Himalayan regional schools, Chinese thermoses, Japanese plastic pandas, kitschy masks, dishes, accessories related to Mexican religious rituals, soap, notebooks, etc. These souvenirs come from the East and the West, from the Old World and the former USSR - many of the world's strangest objects all gathered in one location. Fantastik is an ideal place to buy something completely trivial, yet interesting and with a story to tell.
