Literati is a destination in itself. It's located in a historic Goa building surrounded by a small garden and serves both as a bookstore and a meeting place, too. Stepping across its threshold feels a bit like coming home and it's been home for books for several generations already. Armchairs and small coffee tables are hiding among shelves loaded with books and photos on the walls could easily belong to some family archive. Literati offers both new and used books, classics and local contemporary authors. It also houses literary workshops, storytelling and book reading events and it has its very own café.
