Sangloda is a sanctuary of lifestyle and a destination worth visiting for its interior alone. It's set in a historic Portuguese villa, dating back more than 200 years, which is now turned into an impressive showroom of Indian design. It features a great assortment of tastefully chosen items representing India in all its colorful diversity. There are dishes and glasses, home textiles, cushions and duvets, furniture and variety of other interior items. It's a genuine design mecca to visit if you are currently redecorating your home! Moreover -the shop offers to deliver your purchases anyplace on the earth. It has to be noted, however, that shopping at Sangolda is a joy that doesn't come cheap, comparing with the general price level in India. Owners of Sangolda are a fashion stylist Claudia Derain and her husband, Hari Ajwani, the same ones who also have opened Goa's first boutique hotel, Nilaya. The shop has a café that offers refreshments and soft drinks.
