Hotel Emir, belonging to the local traveling agency Emir Travel, hides in the labyrinth of narrow streets of the Old City, just a short distance from Lyabi-Khauz Square. The clay-brick building, dating back to the 19th century, once have belonged to Jewish merchants. The hotel features small, charming courtyards, oozing with flavor of bygone times, and two types of rooms - typical and contemporary styled ones. Be sure to choose the first one, as the modern rooms are pretty void of personality and much the same as elsewhere in the world.
