Opened slightly over a year ago, Samarkand Plaza is currently the best hotel in the city. 18 rooms, a spacious courtyard and a pool - a somewhat European and a bit impersonal decor of a traditional hotel, at the same time - a well-tested value that never fails. The place offers a pleasant sense of comfort after a day's worth of rushing through the main landmarks of the city. There is nothing over-the-top, nothing superfluous about the hotel. However, don't expect to find as great a luxury as Wi-Fi internet in your room: so far it has been the exclusive privilege of staying at a Tashkent hotel.
