A stone's throw from the alternative Shu! footwear store, look for the significantly more middle-of-the-ground Park where, instead of young hopefuls, fashion experts and enthusiasts will recognise a string of well-known names: Ann Demeulemeester, Martin Margiela, Jil Sander, etc. The store, owned by Helmut Ruthner and Markus Strasser, is considered one of the best - if not the best - concept stores in Vienna: clothing, accessories, fashion magazines, photography books and even furniture from Hans J. Wegner. The store itself is dressed in white: from the floor, walls and ceiling to the dress hangers: a two-storey cross of an exhibition hall and industrial design. Amidst all the whiteness, a collection dominated by understated white, grey and greenish-brown tones.
