Located just about 20 km from Belgium's fashion capital Antwerp, Depot Pierre is yet another attractive fashion pilgrim's destination. It's a real treasure hidden away in a large trailer on a simple parking lot at the very edge of a small industrial town of Mal. To find it, you'll have to make your way through the labyrinth of tiny, crooked streets, following instructions on the website. Both its owners, a husband and wife duo, are fashion designers and graduates of Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts. They personally know majority of Belgium fashion artists, enabling Depot Pierre to receive unsold items of previous season's collections directly from fashion houses. There is a great and regularly changing selection of fine designer clothing and accessories, and if you are lucky enough, you can find some real gems for incredibly friendly prices. Depot Pierre offers creations of Dries Van Noten, Ann Demeulemeester, Raf Simons and many more. The small store is opened on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 14.00 to 18.00. The hosts are the very embodiment of hospitality. Full of enthusiasm, they gladly share their knowledge about other nearby fashion addresses as well, making you to involuntarily ponder possibilities of extending your planned stay in Brussels or Antwerp area.
