Opened ten years ago, the 23-room Schlossle Hotel was the first five-star hotel in Tallinn. It is located in the very heart of the Old Town and housed in three interconnected historic buildings once owned by medieval Hanseatic merchants and noblemen; the first documented mention of these buildings dates back to 1636. The decor is suitably dominated by old English style: antique furniture (imported from the UK), a fireplace and candlelight in the reception. The wall is adorned with a plate listing the luminaries who have graced the hotel by staying here; the last name in the list belongs to Lenny Kravitz who recently availed of a Schlossle Hotel suite.
