Jeu de Paume is one of the best known art galleries in Paris; it is devoted to photography and everything that could be described as "moving pictures" - films, video art. For a long time the gallery housed a collection of Impressionist paintings, which eventually was moved to Musee d'Orsay. One of the most significant Jeu de Paume exhibition recently was a retrospection of photographer Cindy Sherman.
