Marché d'Aligre, located on the same name street, rue d'Aligre, near the Bastille, is one of the most vibrant markets in Paris and offers a plentiful assortment. Any fruit and vegetable you may think of, meat, fish, freshly baked bread and much more. If you rent a room nearby, it makes a perfect place for shopping, and prices there are much friendlier then at any other Parisian market. In the very centre of Marché d'Aligre, you will find Marché Beauvau - the second oldest covered market in Paris, opened since 1777.
