Betsy's is one of the best-known small hotels in Tbilisi, being a favourite of Western diplomats and business people. Its owner is an American (the hotel is named after her), who first arrived in Georgia back in the 1990s.
This hotel has the feeling of a comfortable, European oasis, housing 57 rooms with large windows, a terrace that reveals a wonderful panorama of the city and a private swimming pool. Betsy's was renovated in 2010 and is currently located in two separate, yet connected buildings.
The interiors of the rooms in the historic building are traditional, with Georgian national designs used in the textiles. These design motifs are masterfully incorporated in the modern and minimalistic interiors of the rooms in the new building.
Rooms 109 and 310 are favourites of Anothertravelguide.com, both for the panoramic view and for the uncharacteristically large dimensions of these standard-size rooms.
