If you decide to visit Berlin's Museum for Contemporary Art (Museum für Gegenwart) in the former train station building of the Hamburger Bahnhof, you might wish to view the exhibition Cy Twombly & the School of Fontainebleau, which is on display until October 7. After that, it is worth finding the small path along the left side of the building and walking to the Halle am Wasser. The former warehouse territory on the edge of the Berlin-Spandau canal stood empty and abandoned until recently. Now it has become the home of six Berlin art galleries (Andersen S Contemporary, Arndt & Partner, Frisch, Christian Hosp, Loock, Jarmyschek und Partner). Since it is very hard to reach this place by chance, you will feel like you have entered a special part of Berlin that is known only to its insiders.
