San Nicci is one of the most recent newcomers on the Berlin's restaurant scene. It's under the same ownership as Borchardt, exuding charm of Parisian decadence. Much favored among the crème de la crème of the city's restaurant goers, it has become the uncrowned king among its counterparts. San Nicci, in its turn, features classical Italian cuisine with just a touch of contemporary taste. Its menu, though not very vast, won't let you down either. A modest dining hall features large windows, tile flooring and simple wooden tables decked out in white, while pleasant lighting adds a sufficient dose of intimacy. The only decoration is huge black & white photos on the walls, while the charm and colors are injected by its public, much the same way as at Borchardt. What is more, San Nicci boasts excellent service - from the very moment you step over the threshold, it gives impression of a perfectly staged play! If you look for a venue with style - this is it, and it is perfectly located as well - on Friedrichstrasse, a short way from Spree River and yet another city's current top spot, the restaurant Grill Royal. In summer, an open air terrace is available.
