The Money Museum of the Deutsche Bundesbank, opened in 1999, presents an insight into some of the secrets of world economy with the help of its collection of coins and banknotes dating from different times. The permanent exhibition is arranged on six levels; each of them is dedicated to a specific subject: types and forms of money; how the value of money is created; stable economies; the role of central banks; monetary policies and currency exchange.
