Fleet Wohnung is an address that gets passed on by word of mouth and you won't find it in traditional travel guidebooks, nor in popular lists of hotel accommodation. It's not a guest house, nor a B&B, but three apartments, which are owned by the owners of Hamburg's prestigious Dorrie*Priess Art Gallery. The apartments are located not far from the gallery, in the so-called Fleetinsel - with Sautter&Lackmann, Hamburg's best art, architecture and design bookshop right next door. Not far away is the city's best known luxury shopping street, Neuer Wall, as well as the opera and a number of museums. All of the three apartments are located on the third floor of a historic building and are about 45 m2 in size - with a separate living room, bedroom, kitchen and other necessities for a comfortable stay. The guests who stay at Fleet Wohnung are mainly cinema and theatre aficionados, but this accommodation is available to anyone who stumbles across it. The prices are very reasonable - 76 EUR for one person, 80 EUR for two persons.
