Showroom is a genuine, gourmet restaurant run by a young, married couple - Andreas and Franziska Schweiger. Andreas is deservedly viewed as one Germany's brightest new chefs. His wife Franziska, for her part, is a virtuoso dessert maker. The restaurant is smaller than most and can seat only 28 guests. Therefore, if you wish to have dinner here during the weekend, then you may have to make reservations as far as six weeks in advance.

Showroom is located on a small street in the fashionable Haidhausen district. Its interior is laconic - the subdued palette of white and beige tones is meant to be a mere background for the lively dishes that will be served on your plate. You can choose to try out either a four- or a nine-course meal, and leave the rest to the creative chef. Be prepared to embark on a truly enjoyable gastronomic adventure.

The name Showroom is both ironic and à propos at the same time. Although the restaurant's quiet and intimate atmosphere has nothing in common with that of a classical showroom, the fine food is the outcome of great culinary performances by a skilful chef in the form of a one-man show.
