This small, medicinal herb shop is only a five-minute walk from the Viktualienmarkt and is a genuine, historical relic - being the oldest medicinal herb store in all of Germany. Despite its miniature size, the wooden shelves in Kräuterparadies Lindig are replete with a surprisingly large array of teas, essences, oils and lotions to provide energy and vitality, as well as cures for such ailments as coughs and stomach upsets. There are several hundred bottles, jars, tubes and boxes to choose from, in a tiny space whose walls and shelves are seeped in the aroma of fragrant herbs. Make sure that you have brought enough cash with you before you proceed to the checkout counter, for this establishment does not accept credit cards.
