The gourmet restaurant and hotel Spielweg is a well-kept local secret. The building that contains the restaurant (see the section, Where to Eat) was built in 1861 and has been under ownership of the Fuch family for generations. Probably just as impressive is the family tree of the Spielweg's guests - one generation taking the place of the next, sitting next to the same tiled furnace and at the same wooden tables that make up the homey interior of the restaurant. The hotel lies in the picturesque Münster Valley and is a great place to just stop and catch your breath - it's an absolute haven. It features a fantastic and creative kitchen where everything is made from fresh, local products; simple and comfortable rooms without a smidgin of pretentiousness; friendly prices and, everywhere you look, beautiful views. There's even an added plus that will ensure total escape - since the Spielweg is nestled into a valley surrounded by mountains, mobile phones usually don't work either in the restaurant or the hotel rooms.
