This is the oldest - and also my favourite - Mykonos restaurant, which first opened its door in 1971. A chic place that can't boast of being particularly trendy but honours classic values. Part of the tables are situated indoors, the rest are on the street. While your taste buds savor the excellent Greek and French cuisine, eyes and nostrils will be teased by the arrangement of sunflowers and lemon basil on the table.
The specials of the place are spaghetti with lobster and risotto with sea food. Unlike most Greek wines, normally not endowed with an outstanding bouquet, the ones served at Katrine's are excellent. Twice a year the restaurant's sommelier visits the continent to attend an annual wine festival where he acquaints himself with the latest offerings and places his largest orders. Katrine's is a heart-warming place with a domestic feel and prices according to speciality. Be sure to book a table in advance. $$$
