Goldfrapp

English duo Goldfrapp records stylish and clever music, which is then visualised to great effect in live shows. Goldfrapp's music is electronic pop of the highest order. The band, named after its vocalist, is often perceived as Alison Goldfrapp's solo project, as Will Gregory - the other half of the duo - prefers to go unnoticed and never performs on stage with Alison. Over a decade of collaboration, the duo have recorded five albums. Among their greatest fans is Madonna, who openly admires Alison Goldfrapp. The band's new tour is dedicated to the release of their new album, Head First, in which Goldfrapp dives into the era of the glossy and optimistic disco music of the 1980s, and does so in the most elegant and pleasing fashion.
