The Northern Italian town of Arco near Lake Garda is a serious rock-climbing site that boasts a wealth of traditions. For years, Arco has been hosting European rock-climbing championships and has by now evolved into a genuine Mecca of the sport. The routes mostly suit intermediate and advanced rock-climbers.
Unlike Morocco which is dominated by beige and red tones, Arco is a rainbow-coloured adventure. Mountains, sunlight, vineyards, wine, the town itself, the huge choice of equipment in the countless sports shops... Fantastic!
Alongside rock-climbing, you can enrich your Italian holidays with a range of other recreational activities, including mountain trekking, via ferrata, mountain biking, surfing, etc.
