10 Corso Como, the name of the 1990s-founded style empire ( comprising a concept store, restaurant, bar, art gallery and a tiny three-room hotel) of Carla Sozzani, the former editor of the Italian Vogue and Elle magazines, art gallerist and publisher, speaks for itself. Alongside the Paris Colette, it is one of the most legendary European concept stores, the No. 1 style address in Milan - a place to visit looking for inspiration and a condensed overview of the latest trends. Not many, however, will have heard of the 10 Corso Como outlet hiding nearby: quite hard to stumble on and practically unadvertised, it sells last season's leftovers for considerably more pleasant prices: clothing, accessories - besides, considering the conceptual offer of 10 Corso Como proper, a visit to the outlet is definitely worth your while, for instance, to look for a thing or two by Comme des Garçons and other brands producing designs that, even from the outset, are more likely to be filed under „everlasting values" than „this season's fads", thus qualifying as a safe investment in all respects - for a much friendlier price than during the original season, at that. A note of warning: before heading for the 10 Corso Como outlet, you would do wise to check the opening hours at the company's website: normally it is open Friday to Sunday only; they do hold „themes sales days" occasionally on other days of the week.
