Corsia del Giardino

To be in the city, at the same time teleporting oneself to someplace else is a dream of anyone who is tired of urban living. The new bistro Corsia del Giardino in Milan is just perfect for this purpose. It's located in the very heart of the city, between the famous fashion street and a tourist trap Via Montenapoleone and the Mecca of opera-lovers - La Scala. With huge windows overlooking the garden of the Poldi Pezzoli museum, it seems inviting the lush greenness into the room. Both nature motifs and geometry have inspired its décor, designed in green and brown palette of colors, featuring only natural materials - oak tree furniture and beige and pale-green marble. Irregular vertical lines resemble plants that are striving towards the sun while roundish shapes recall flower bouquets. It's a place offering some moments of illusory refreshment, before you take the plunge into the chaos of the big city again.
