The Garage wine bar and eatery is a great place for breakfast, lunch or a light dinner, and the food is best enjoyed slowly, while savouring each bite. Garage is to be found in the heart of the Berga Bazārs (Bergs Bazaar), directly opposite the Hotel Bergs, under the shade of a giant chestnut tree. By the way, real garages were once at this site. The industrially elegant, slightly robust and seemingly time-worn interior provides a pleasant, homey, light and unpretentious atmosphere. Fine wine and light appetizers form the bulk of the menu, at affordable prices. Although main courses are offered, the emphasis is on variations of tasty Spanish tapas.
