Concept shop BANG BANG - a guide to street fashion, alternative art and music

Street fashion fans will be happy to find current footwear collections from Supra, Vans, Element, Gravis and Circa there, as well as clothing and accessories from Volcom, Insight, Krew, Element, Nikita and Nixon.

As an alternative art space and for the delight of its aficionados, BANG BANG develops concept projects in collaboration with Latvian artists and creative personalities. Already during the first month of its opening, it features an exposition of intriguing illustrations of a graphical designer Gints Apsītis - "a peculiar 21^st century cyber-Dadaism", as the artist himself has dubbed this collection.

In order to fuse fashion and art, BANG BANG cooperates with an experimental fashion label BLANK BLANK and local artists in production of "BANG BANG artist T shirt series". The first artist to participate in this project is a painter Flera Birmane with her "Wake up" collection, to be followed by a fashion designer Keta Gutmane.

In collaboration with a coffee label Illy and Innocent Café, the shop is running a small café or rather a coffee corner as well with coffee available for takeaway, too.

Unlike many youth-oriented stores, thrifty using every square inch of their limited space, BANG BANG shop boasts a fantastic vastness, making it pleasant to linger there a little longer. Its interior features a cozy industrial style with exposed brickwork both in its walls and high vaulted ceiling, and checkered black & white tile flooring. Custom-made BOLE furniture and few vintage items supplement its décor, making the picture complete

It's an environment exuding dynamic energy of skateboarding and urban velo culture, filled with creativity and excitement of current street fashion trends, while the very heart of the Old City throbs outside its windows.
