If you wish to explore the Riga city centre by bicycle, then be sure to stop in at MiiT, a multi-functional centre for cycling enthusiasts. Located on Lāčplēša ielā 10, MiiT serves as a store/café/design workshop and lounge, all in one. No need to lock up your bicycle outside and peer out the window every two minutes to see if it is still there. Here you can safely bring your bicycle inside and relax in the lounge over a drink and a snack.

The principal design elements of the interior consist of bicycles and bicycle parts, which are fastened to the walls in various positions. Miit has an unusually creative approach, offering not only brand new bicycles, but also renewed and repainted models, including fixed-gear, single speed bicycles and urban models known as Amsterdam or vintage-style bicycles.

A glass door reveals a bicycle design workshop that offers painting and aerography master classes. Here you can paint practically any design element that you wish onto your bicycle, after tuning it up in the repair shop if needed.

On Fridays and Saturdays, musical evenings led by the city's most popular DJs take place in the MiiT lounge.
