The Pērle bar and shop - its name inspired by the famous or infamous Puerto Rican slum "La Perla" - succeeds in recalling the 1980s with skilful mixture of design elements from that era and from today.
Practically everything inside is for sale - even the coffee table under your wine glass - as well as a red, Grundig mini-TV, a Brother typewriter, cassette and record players, and a mind-boggling collection of 80s fashion items, from shoes to jumpers to leggings.
A convertible ceiling allows Pērle to transform itself into a multi-functional space where anything can happen - concerts, exhibits, film screenings or gatherings over coffee in the afternoons. You can find out more about what's going on at Pērle via Twitter.
