Gorky Bar is among the most famous late-night spots of Vilnius. Somewhat tatty décor of the bar is done in the style of the 80's and 90's, with a relentlessly rotating disco ball at the ceiling and an ever-present DJ providing a musical background, completely engrossed in its rhythms. Under the same management as the nearby Café de Paris and Jalta in Žvėrynas, Gorky Bar offers a wide range of events transforming, for example, into Moloko Bar from Anthony Burgess' novel, A Clockwork Orange or into a Havana club with DJ Che at the mixing desk. The nearby businesses maintain that Gorky Bar is a great neighbor, always taking care of the right music - they just have to open their windows!
