A classical trendy place, owned by the same people as De Jaren. An open kitchen and a small back garden, excellent for knocking back a cocktail or two on a warm summer night. Another option is the open-air terrace on the canal bank. Reasonable prices. As always with places of this sort, what matters most is the ambience and the crowd. The menu offers quality food but don't expect your socks to be knocked off, either.
