Czuly Barbarzynca embodies the very best that one might expect of a bookstore - a professionally and lovingly compiled selection of books, and a perfect space to savor it all. The bookstore serves as a café-reading-room as well, with tables scattered amid bookshelves and in a mansard as well. At Czuly Barbarzynca, you will surely find good fiction, art and design books, travel guides and a special corner for kids. Although mostly in Polish, there are books in English and French as well. Being sited just a short way off the Warsaw University Library, it's almost always packed full and getting a vacant table might be a problem. It's quite understandable though - aside from good books, it offers good tea and coffee, delicious cakes and sandwiches, and free wireless internet access. Czuly Barbarzynca holds exhibitions, literature readings and book presentations. Almost at the very entrance, there is a swing hanging from the ceiling, as if symbolizing spiritual elevation that a good book can offer...
