The name of the restaurant says it all - of course, it was opened as a tribute to the well-known glossy fashion magazine. Fashion photographs as well as all the latest issues of the Vogue magazine are an integral part of the décor; as for the crowd - well, it belongs on the gossip pages of said popular monthly. There are special stools for the ladies to place their handbags on, the staff are all dressed in black and the ambience is the embodiment of the finest salon chic - and yet there are no exaggerated theatrics about the place. The location is strategically chosen: a stone's throw from the Bolshoi Theatre, the Podium luxury fashion store and the Central Department Store or TSUM. The menu features a blend of Russian and European cuisine. Excellent gazpacho with crab meat, outstanding crème brûlée and tuna tartare.
