Set atop one of the most elegant apartment buildings lining Istanbul's pedestrian street of entertainment and culture, 360's claim to fame is as much for its stunning panoramic views over the city, as for its fashionable fusion cuisine. You can't miss the statuesque Misir Apartment, on your left about 200 metres beyond the grand gates of Galatasaray Lyçee. The outside terrace is perhaps the most photogenic spot in the city at cocktail hour, which may be your best bet, as insiders have not been giving 360 top marks for its food recently. Nonetheless the place is relentlessly popular, and reservations are essential, especially for Fridays and Saturdays. Go during the week for a more relaxed atmosphere and soak in the view.
