Set right on one of the most historically important squares in the city, a few metres from one of the grandest symbols of Istanbul, the Galata Tower, The Anemon has recently been restored to its former glory in an old townhouse with mouthwatering views from its terrace. This view encompasses the ancient Galata quarter, the Golden Horn, Topkapi and the Old Town, and the grandeur of the Bosphorus looking across to Asia. Nowhere offers such stunning vistas together with a mainly Turkish menu at reasonable prices. Reservations are necessary on weekends, though you could try your luck for a candlelit cocktail any time. Best during the week - a place for lovers and true romantics away from the crowds!
