The new Dorset Square Hotel in London is the seventh hotel in the collection of eccentric British hotelier duo - Tim & Kit Kemp, owners of Firmdale group. It is as bright and attractive as any of its predecessors, including Haymarket Hotel in London and Crosby Street Hotel in New York that have adorned glossy pages of almost all the existing glamorous interior design magazines. Kit admits that interior design is not only her weakness but an incurable obsession. Dorset Square Hotel is located in a private square, a short distance from Hyde Park. Dating back to the 1920s, these two buildings were purchased already in 1980s. The first thing you'll notice, stepping over its threshold, is a pink floral pattern of the lounge wall, cheerfully greeting every guest. Celebration of life seems radiating off it! Each of the hotel's 38 rooms features a different design, resembling a colorful garden in full bloom. A special trait of Dorset Square Hotel décor is its unique carpet and textile collection, designed in collaboration with the British textile produce Christopher Farr.
