A small, cosy eight-room B&B in Notting Hill, where visitors are made to feel like guests at the house of an elegant, bohemian granny... My, my, the things she has seen in her life... As Miller's Residence is not far from Portobello market, one gets the feeling that this granny has not been able to resist the temptation on multiple occasions. The rooms are crammed with objects, and each of them is simply begging for a story to be invented. Just imagine - 217 oil paintings, countless cushions, 18th-Century furniture, candelabra, chairs, clocks, small tables, piles of books... And it seems Granny is also an incorrigible romantic - Byron, Blake, each of the rooms is named after a poet. Miller's Residence is a colourful enough backdrop to have been used for various film and photo shoots. Marianne Faithfull has stayed here several times. The owner of the B&B is Martin Miller, a former photographer and antiques collector.
