I Blame Coco. European Tour

The 20-year old Eliot Paulina Sumner, a.k.a. Coco, is the front woman of a band that goes by the name of I Blame Coco. Coco has been writing songs since the age of 15; however her official debut only took place in 2010: this autumn saw the release of I Blame Coco's debut album The Constant. There is no hiding the simple truth: Coco is the daughter of Sting and his wife, the actress Trudie Styler.
Coco was born in Pisa, Italy, and grew up far from the noise of London - in the quite countryside of Wiltshire. The wise Sting did everything for the six of his children to grow up as normal human beings instead of capricious starlets. According to Coco, she is not writing and performing music for the money or the fame - she just loves to write songs and play musical instruments. She plays the piano, guitar, bass guitar and percussions and has co-written all of the tracks on her band's debut CD. The style of I Blame Coco could be described as tuneful alternative pop with elements of electronic music. Sometimes you catch some familiar colours in Coco's voice - an echo of Sting's pleasant intonations. Coco says that her father is, of course, very proud of her musical efforts; however, Sting is Sting, and Coco's music is definitely and distinctly her own. Incidentally, Coco has already made her screen debut and featured in the Burberry advertising campaign.
