Canadian poet and songwriter Leonard Cohen's current tour has already run for more than a year. Should you choose to see at least one concert this year, an evening in Cohen's company is a sure bet. The 74-year-old artist's concert programme is three hours long and includes all of his best songs. No other musician can fill an arena of several thousand with such warmth, charm and wisdom. Leonard Cohen is fond of a Tennessee Williams quote: "Life is a fairly well-written play, except for the third act". The musician is convinced his life has moved into the final, third act. "The beginning of the third act seems to be very well written," he says. "But the end of the third act, of course, is when the hero dies." This may well be Cohen's last tour.
