Dong Tai Road Antique Market is a genuine shrine of various epochs and nationalities of China, featuring items of Mao communist era to traditional costumes of China's ethnic minorities. There you can find both authentic historic artifacts and their fakes. Production skills of such imitations in China, by the way, are highly appreciated. My greatest find there was a glove made of small metallic sheets, apparently a part of some sort of armor. A truly fantastic design object!
