You will have to travel to a nearby island to get there; the surrounding landscape will do nothing to prepare your taste buds for an exciting culinary experience: it's all dockyard warehouses etc. Worse still, Fort Cochin is housed in the Casino Hotel, a truly monstrous architectural object; and yet - leave your doubts behind! What you will find there is definitely - at least - one of the best fish cuisines in the city, and part of your potential dinner is still swimming around in a fish tank in the dining hall. The food is prepared right in front of your eyes. Definitely do book in advance.
