The Red Courtyard Boutique, Pondicherry

The little shop with an open-air courtyard rock garden, owned by two Frenchwomen, was opened quite recently, in late October 2007. The clothing, jewellery, bags and shoes designed by the owners are made by Indian women. In some ways the boutique is quite similar to VIBE - the western touch makes for a unique blend of French and Indian design styles. The resulting mixture is very appealing. The owners are planning to open another Pondicherry store soon.
