Raffles Dubai

Raffles Hotel, opened in Dubai's architectural playground in 2007, can deservedly be called a present-day icon. Shaped as an ancient Egyptian pyramid on outside, it features a splendid symbiosis of the Middle East and Asian décor inside. It has introduced a sophisticated and stylistically impeccable kitsch onto the Dubai's hotel scene, with nothing to excess and nothing missing, just making you feel comfortable even among skyscrapers. Raffles Hotel offers 248 rooms (the smallest ones being 70m²) and apartments, each one with its own balcony and amazing cityscape views. Especially at night, the city seems like a surreal mirage, conjured up by the 21st century architecture, Dubai being a perfect testing ground for this purpose. Wafi City Mall, one of the metropolis's top luxury shopping centers, is located right next to it, a separate entrance from the hotel leading there. The hotel boasts its very own botanical garden, covering 10 000 m². It is a genuine oasis in the city of glass, sand and concrete, where simple walking, as a way of getting about, has almost vanished from people's daily routine. The hotel's concept is based on four essential elements - earth, air, water and fire, being tastefully represented throughout its décor. Even magnificent floral compositions at the entrance-hall are from live flowers...
Raffles Hotel excels with an impeccable service, the same referring also to The Noble House, one of the city's best Chinese restaurants, housed there too. Another attraction is China Moon Champagne Bar, sited within the glass apex of the pyramid and available only to hotel's residents and special guests.
