The Address Hotel, Downtown Burj Dubai

The Address Hotels + Resorts is a new hotel concept owned by Emaar Properties, also responsible for the record-breaking Burj Dubai skyscraper. The 63-storey hotel, located next door to the Dubai Mall, could in a sense be regarded as the flagship link of the upcoming chain. Once the whole Burj Dubai complex - including an artificial lake, fountain and Champs-Élysées-style boulevard with cafés, restaurants and a pedestrian lane - a rarity in this metropolis - is completed, the Address Hotel will become a practically perfect accommodation location-wise, at least for people interested in exploring metropolises instead of beach tourism. Getting any closer to Burj Dubai just isn't possible. Admittedly, it is currently still surrounded by a building ground. And yet perhaps it should not worry you too much: after all, a hotel room with a view of a row of construction cranes does provide the most authentic feel of the Dubai of today. On the other hand, sunbathing by the swimming pool lined by freshly planted palm trees may seem somewhat bizarre: although properly fenced off, it is still located in a construction ground. The hotel offers 171 rooms and 25 suites featuring understated and yet very well thought-out contemporary decor. The bathroom is equipped with Aqua di Parma toiletries. An additional extra touch is added by the Neos roof bar on the 63rd floor: thanks to the great panoramic view, it has already become one of the most sought-after hangouts in the city.
